The SCQA Framework consists of four components:
- Situation (S): Describes the current context or background.
- Complication (C): Introduces a problem or challenge in the situation.
- Question (Q): Poses a key question or issue arising from the complication.
- Answer (A): Provides a solution or response to the question.

👀 1. Situation
Set the stage by describing the current context or status quo. It's a neutral statement of facts, establishing common ground or a starting point for the audience.

Our company, XYZ Tech, has been a leading software provider in the educational sector for over 15 years, known for its reliable and user-friendly learning management systems.
🚒 2. Complication
Introduce a challenge, problem, or change that disrupts the status quo. The complication is crucial as it creates tension or interest and signifies the need for a change or solution.
Example
However, in the past two years, we've seen a surge in competition with new companies introducing AI-powered educational platforms, which are rapidly gaining market share due to their advanced features and customization options.
🤔 3. Question
This is a natural progression from the complication, posing a critical issue or decision that needs to be addressed. It focuses the audience's attention on the specific problem that needs solving.
Example
This leads us to the critical question: How can XYZ Tech innovate its current software offerings to remain competitive and retain its position as a market leader?
💡 4. Answer
The answer provides a resolution or response to the question. It can be a direct solution, a recommendation, an action plan, or a strategy. This part is where you propose value, make a point, or persuade.
Example
To address this challenge, we propose developing a new AI-enhanced version of our learning management system that offers personalized learning experiences and predictive analytics for educators. Additionally, forming strategic partnerships with AI technology leaders will accelerate our development process and enhance our market position.
